Normals of each vertical pair programmable.
Developed
at the request of a customer, this patchbay is unique because
all of the individual normals are programmable per jack-pair.
This 2x48 MINI unit is mounted on a 1.5RU (2.6”) panel. With
Tip, Ring, and Sleeve only brought out to eight 38-pin male EDAC
connectors mounted on the rear of a totally enclosed 7-1/2”
deep chassis. We’ve incorporated a cabling support tray for
bundling down all those interconnect cables.* This unit is 110
ohm digital-ready.
The programmable
normalling pod is located on the top of the patchbay. We’ll
insert the jumpers here at Audio Accessories to supply you with
your desired normalling scheme (specify when ordering). However,
if you need to change any normal, all you need to do is pull out
the unit from the front of the rack, remove the protective clear
PlexiglassÖ cover and move the shunts to the proper location on
the normalling pod for that individual jack-pair.* By positioning
the jumpers you can full-normal, half-normal, reverse half-normal,
vertically strap grounds, individually buss the jack row, or make
the complete unit have a common ground (see detail below).
*We recommend
leaving a 1-foot service loop on the interconnect cables at the
rear of the unit for ease of pulling the unit out from the front
to change normals.
